Opening for play in 1969, Avondale Golf Club is proud to be one of the first private clubs established in Palm Desert.

Avondale Golf Club offers a comfortable environment where members relax, socialize, entertain, and enjoy some of the finest golf and social amenities in the Coachella Valley. The club features a mature golf course with tree lined fairways and spectacular conditions that rival the best in the desert. Designed by Jimmy Hines, the Par 72 6,782 yard championship golf course is challenging but playable for golfers of all skill levels. Avondale has long been known for "always having a game", seven days a week — you'll have no trouble finding playing partners here! The Club has an expansive practice facility for members to hone all aspects of their game. The clubhouse features well appointed and newly renovated men's and ladies' locker rooms.

In the clubhouse, you will find the Garden Dining Room — the social hub of Avondale where unique dinners and events are a weekly occurrence. The Main Dining Room and third-floor ZanzaBar are frequently utilized for theme orientated special events such as wine tastings, martini nights and karaoke. Any time you find yourself at Avondale, you can expect the same quality food, drinks and service that are part of the culinary tradition of JC Resorts.
