A Century of Golf and Community: Los Serranos Country Club Celebrates 100 Years
This year marks a remarkable milestone for Los Serranos Country Club as the beloved Chino Hills golf destination proudly celebrates 100 years of golf, community, and cherished traditions. Established in 1925, Los Serranos has grown to become one of Southern California’s premier public golf facilities, offering two 18-hole championship courses, golf instruction, and a vibrant clubhouse for dining and events.
Over the past century, Los Serranos has hosted countless tournaments, junior programs, charity events, and community celebrations, solidifying its place as a cornerstone of the Chino Hills community. From picturesque event spaces to its full-service pro shop and championship golf courses, Los Serranos has remained a dynamic gathering place for generations of golfers and guests.
The centennial festivities kicked off in style with a Centennial Celebration on April 24th, where guests enjoyed an evening of history, gratitude, and celebration. The event featured a touching slideshow of the club’s storied past, alongside heartfelt remarks from distinguished speakers including Peter Rogers from the City of Chino Hills, San Bernardino County Fourth District Supervisor Curt Hagman, former General Manager Kevin Sullivan, and Golf Instructor & Historian Greg Castleman. The evening paid tribute to the many individuals and families who have shaped Los Serranos’ legacy from 1925–2025.
The celebration continued on the fairways with the Centennial Celebration Golf Tournament on April 25th, highlighted by ceremonial first tee shots from Ron Kramer, Andrew Kramer, Kodi Kramer, and Brandon Rodriguez. The tournament saw impressive play, with the team of Andrew Kramer, David Kramer, Rosie Kramer, and Bryan Pirruccello securing first place with a stellar score of 57 (-15).
As Los Serranos honors a century of memories, it looks ahead to an exciting new era. With continued improvements, a fresh lineup of events, and a renewed commitment to delivering an exceptional experience for golfers and guests alike, the club is poised to build on its remarkable legacy.
