Celebrating John McNair’s Induction into the Southern California Golf Hall of Fame
JC Golf is proud to celebrate an incredible milestone for our Chief Operating Officer, John McNair, PGA, who has been inducted into the Southern California Golf Hall of Fame Class of 2026. This honor recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on the golf community in our region and have helped shape the game for future generations.
The Hall of Fame, unified by the Southern California Golf Association and the Southern California PGA, brings together leaders, innovators and trailblazers who have influenced golf across Southern California. This year’s class continues that legacy by honoring those whose dedication and leadership have strengthened and elevated the sport.
John McNair’s story is deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for golf. Growing up on Fox Bend Golf Course, he learned the game not just as a competitive junior and collegiate athlete, but as a student of the business itself. His early experiences shaped a strong foundation that later guided his professional path. From working in course operations to managing properties across the country, John’s journey reflects both a love for the game and a commitment to its growth. For the past 26 years, he has played a key role in expanding and leading the JC Resorts golf division.
John’s influence extends far beyond golf operations. In 2020, he served as the District 11 Director for the PGA of America, representing the region at the national level and contributing to initiatives that support PGA Professionals across the country. In 2015, he was elected President of the Southern California PGA, where he helped advance youth access programs such as Neighborhood Golf and Golf in Schools. During this time, John also authored the PGA Endowment Fund and Reserve Policy, a framework created to ensure long-term sustainability for programs that serve current and future PGA Professionals.
His passion for supporting junior golfers continues through his service on the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation board, which focuses on expanding opportunities for young players and growing the game within the community.
