A brand-new pitching green was just added to complete the extensive practice area at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. The pitching area was specifically designed to enhance a players’ wedge game and provide additional short-game skills training. Players can now practice chipping onto a picturesque putting green with three flagged holes. State-of-the-art artificial turf was installed to ensure consistent conditions all year long.

“This new space is perfect for all golfers, any age and any skill level, to come practice their short game in a beautiful spot”, says Brad Van Horn, Director of Golf at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. “We invite everyone to come try it out and make a whole experience out of the complete practice center.”

The pitching green was commemorated with first swings on February 27th by Rich Houk, Chair of the Encinitas Ranch Golf Authority as well as Todd Kochanowski, Brad Van Horn, and John McNair of JC Golf (as pictured).

New seating areas were also created and installed for golfers, families, and the community to enjoy the outdoor space in Encinitas. Views of the ocean can be seen from the practice area, making it the ideal place to be – any day.
