We are thrilled to announce that The Crossings at Carlsbad has been recognized with the prestigious 2024 Community Environmental Award by the California Golf Course Owners Association (CGCOA). The award was proudly presented on Monday, May 12th, 2025, during CGCOA’s annual meeting — fittingly held at The Crossings itself.

This distinguished honor celebrates golf facilities that demonstrate outstanding commitment to environmental stewardship and community leadership within the golf industry. Accepting the award on behalf of the course were Chris Hayman, Golf Course Superintendent, and Bryon Penfield, PGA, General Manager, alongside members of the JC Resorts team.

The Community Environmental Award recognizes facilities that implement practices reducing the use of critical resources such as water and electricity, establish comprehensive recycling programs, and actively work to preserve natural habitats for local wildlife.
