Twin Oaks Golf Course Welcomes New General Manager and Director of Catering
With over twelve years of experience at JC Golf, PGA Professional Bryon Penfield was named General Manager. Penfield has been in the golf industry for over fifteen years and brings valued experience from an esteemed career in golf that includes leadership positions within the JC Golf family of golf courses. Penfield most recently served as Director of Golf at The Crossings at Carlsbad and at Rancho Bernardo Inn. In 2016 Penfield was elected to the Class A Membership of the Professional Golfers Association of America.
“I could not be more excited to join the team at Twin Oaks Golf Course”, said Penfield. “The facility and staff are spectacular and I’m looking forward to meeting all of our guests as they experience both golf and events.”
Nicole Manalo has been named Director of Catering at Twin Oaks and will oversee the operations of weddings and events. Manalo comes with eight years of experience from Carmel Mountain Ranch Estate where she manages all aspects of hosted weddings and events. A graduate from San Diego State University, Manalo’s passion in the catering industry is showcased through a strong history of operations including organizing and directing functions, overseeing all catering activities, weddings and event management, and marketing.
