JC Golf proudly announces new leadership at Cathedral Canyon Golf Club, Encinitas Ranch Golf Course, Twin Oaks Golf Course, and Welk Resorts San Diego Golf Courses. 

Cathedral Canyon Golf Club
Sept 2019 – JC Golf awarded Anna Rosa Calkins the position of Director Of Golf at Cathedral Canyon Golf Club. Located near Palm Springs, California, the golf club is located on the property of the Desert Oasis by Welk Resorts. With years of experience in hospitality as Club Manager for The Golf Club at La Quinta, Anna Rosa now oversees Cathedral Canyon’s championship golf course, clubhouse, and newly remodeled JAX Bar + Grill.  She looks forward to welcoming the local community and all traveling guests.

Encinitas Ranch Golf Course

Sept 2019 – JC Golf awarded Nick Becks the position of Director of Golf at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in Encinitas, California. Nick brings a strong history of golf facility leadership experience and was previously the General Manager at Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach and prior to that, the Head Golf Professional for The Crossings at Carlsbad. Nick’s experience with major golf programs will be an asset to managing the multi-operational facility at Encinitas Ranch including the golf course, practice facility, pro shop, lessons program, bar and grill and partner programs with GolfTec and Cobra Golf.

Twin Oaks Golf Course

Feb 2020 – JC Golf awarded Josh Haynes the position of First Assistant at Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, California. Josh was previously the First Assistant and Tournament Sales Director at Welk Resorts San Diego and prior to that, the Assistant Golf Professional at Barona Resort and Casino. Josh brings years of experience to the dynamic golf operations at Twin Oaks and will be a great addition to the course’s community.

Welk Resorts San Diego Golf Course

Feb 2020 – JC Golf awarded Mike Skala, PGA Associate, the position of Head Golf Professional for Welk Resorts San Diego’s two golf courses, the Fountains Course and the Oaks Course. Mike oversees the two executive golf courses and a full-service clubhouse. Previously the First Assistant at Twin Oaks Golf Course in San Marcos, Director of Golf Operations at Boulder Oaks Golf Club, and Tournament Director at Carlton Oaks Golf Resort, Mike looks forward to growing the golf program for all guests and local residents of the Welk Resorts community. To add to Mike’s winning team, Bob Thurston was also awarded the position of First Assistant and Tournament Sales Director.
