Driving Range
The driving range and practice center at Oaks North Golf Course is open to the public. Range balls can be purchased in the pro shop. Call the pro shop at (858) 524-3247 for current operating hours.
Hours Of Operation:
Monday: Sunrise to ½ hour before sunset
Tuesday: Sunrise to 3 hours before sunset*
Wednesday: 9 am to ½ hour before sunset*
Thursday – Sunday: Sunrise to ½ hour before sunset
*Times affected by maintenance schedule

Women's Golf Club
The Oaks North Women’s Golf Club is a group of women who play weekly, enjoy friendly competition and the opportunity to golf regularly.
Play every Friday. Tee times from 7:50 AM - 10:20 AM.
Parent Junior League
Spend quality time with your junior on the course! For 10 weeks, parent-junior teams play 9 holes at Oaks North, with assigned tee times starting at 3pm each week. Weekly participation will earn points towards awards and golf related prizes, to be celebrated on the final play date. Summer Leagues are available.

How do you see if there any tee times available for last-minute walk-ons?

Do you have room to squeeze me in for nine holes?
We will assist by looking at the tee sheet to see if any groups are only playing nine holes. If yes, we'll squeeze you in to play the back nine.
Can I play a round of golf by myself? Can I play as a twosome vs grouped in a foursome? Can we golf by ourselves?
Tee times are reserved for four players so singles and twosomes must play with others to make up a foursome. To play by yourself, the entire foursome must be reserved and purchased.
Can we play as a fivesome?
Sorry, no fivesomes are allowed.
Can I get the senior discount?

What time does twilight start?
During Daylight Savings Time (summer), twilight starts at 3 pm for JC Players and 3:30 pm for public. Super Twilight is not available during this time. During Standard Time (winter), twilight starts at 12:30 for JC Players and 1 pm for public. Super Twilight starts at 2:30 pm for JC Players and 3 pm for public.
What are the hours for the driving range?
The driving range is open from 6:30 am through 30 mins before sunset. We close early on Tuesdays to clean pick the range so maintenance can mow the next day.
How many days in advance can I make a tee time?
Eight days for JC Players and seven days for the public.
Which of the three nine-hole courses will I be playing?
The staff will inform you at check-in as it depends on the daily rotation of the designated early course.
How long should it take to play 18 holes?
We strive for golfers to take 1.5 hours to complete nine holes and three hours for eighteen.
How much does it cost for a spectator?
The price for a cart ride; current pricing is available at the golf shop.
What is the dress code?
Golf attire is recommended.
Are dogs allowed on course?
Only service animals are permitted at the facility.
Are there any age restrictions for playing?
Must be six years old or over to play. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
What is your policy on outside food and beverages?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Our clubhouse is equipped with snacks and drinks.

The course is loved by San Diegan of all age levels. Perfect for beginners, juniors, seniors, and short game practice sessions, the course has three distinct nine-hole layouts at shorter yardages (3,417–3,608 yards) that are cleverly designed to allow for 18 holes in about three hours.

The practice area is a must to visit with fully equipped with a driving range, putting greens and chipping areas. Plus, the course offers lessons for all skill levels and ages from a team of golf professionals all year long.
What is must-do at Oaks North?
For juniors, the weekly summer golf camps are a great way to have fun, develop skills, and meet other kids interested in playing golf. The schedule comes out late spring each year and goes the summer.
Is there a special signature hole at Oaks North?
The standout at Oaks North is the challenging Par 3 hole #8 on the South Course.
